I am around wedding venues, wineries, hiking trails, mountains, etc.

They meet every Wed morning and they have around 40-60 regular attendees and they provide great content and great networking and have a speaker every week.

You'll read about everything from the costs of property management, the theme of providing an experience, all of the costs that most people don't initially think of (example: provide cable and internet), insurance rates of it's a beach rental, etc.

My husband and I have been thinking about trying out short term rentals here in Luray, VA because it is a pretty popular vacation/wedding destination and there aren't many Airbnb's available in the actual town itself. 

Foreclosures are state specific and while general foreclosure proceedings are all a variation on a theme, there are differences.

It ends up being an insult to the credibility of the agent making the offer, and a waste of time for both the listing agent and the seller of the property.The common theme is that good communication from the beginning will get everyone much further along towards accomplishing their goals whether it be the agent trying to earn a commission or an investor looking to secure a property.

@Emanuel Monteiro it’s not exactly clear why you want to connect to an investor doing wholesaling in Massachusetts or Rhode Island, but my guess is that you want to do so as a source of off-market deals.If so, I would recommend 1) local real estate groups (they often meet at least monthly and have wholesalers of all experience levels), 2) check Craigslist to see who I see is posting “we buy houses” type ads, 3) call on “we buy houses” telephone pole (aka “bandit”) signs, and 4) Google “we buy houses yourtown” (and variations of that theme) and see who comes up.Keep in mind that a wholesaler’s main concern is “will this person CLOSE or are they going to back out at the last minute and leave me hanging?”

This is really neat with regard to customizing the theme etc. 

So you end up building equity in all of the homes to borrower down the road for more investment properties, Wedding, New Baby, etc!

I'm doing neither, because I live in my parent's basement due to my upcoming wedding on June 23rd.
