Western Europe vs. folks in the Middle East and Eastern Europe?

Hey guys- I am an investor and Realtor and lived in the Western Suburbs my whole life - DuPage and Kane - family lives in Oswego.

But here is the other option:My long term plans would be to move back to the Midwest (western suburbs of Chicago) to be close to family.

In Elmhurst (class A western suburb of Chicago), a very significant part of our tax bill goes to funding our blue ribbon elementary school and other phenomenal public schools.

Throw in condos and that is a whole different market.Even in the same school district houses west of western sell for a few hundred thousand dollars less.

I have taken a profit on the properties in California, but not selling the stuff I own in western wa.

The A class neighborhoods here in the Western suburbs don't make much sense, but there are plenty of B and C class areas where you can find really solid cash flowing properties. 

In a lot of western states, or areas that are prone to wildland fires such as the southeast, having a cleared defensible space around your property can prove highly valuable to prospective homebuilders. 

This artificial inflation was specific to mostly Northeastern and Western properties.

There are other areas in Western Wayne County that work well, depending on your entrance and exit strategy preferences.
