Myself growing up in Cupertino CA  ( SF Bay Area Apple headquarters ) no one starting out could afford a home there on average incomes.

I read apartment vacancy is still doing 92% in bay area, but they have to give concession , like one or two months free. office is pretty much dead.if you notice traffic pattern in bay , monday and friday is empty but traffic jam everywhere on tuesday and thursday.there's no way people would come back to work from mon to friday 9 to 5 again.i don't know about the future, but it's kinda scary, we in US live in borrowing times......

Look up Top Golf, there a few locations in Phoenix. 3-4 stories tall with GPSed balls so you can see them on a TV screen that is in each bay.

That will help keep some of the negative impact of inflation at bay.
