I'm in south Florida and real estate values are way too high in my opinion and thwart any chance of being profitable for the buyer. 

Some of ours are: Renter's insurance, HOW to pay rent, HOW / WHEN to tell me that they're terminating tenancy, where to park, where you can't park (the lawn), a bed bug addendum, a mold addendum, expectations of cleanliness of their unit (to be able to thwart off serious hoarding) and common areas, no window coverings/tapestry/sports flags - must be blinds or curtains.

The eliminates any leverage they may have by stalling or thwarting your purchase.  

Campaign promises are likely to be curtailed, re-formulated or scrapped all together to ensure markets / business don't de-stabilize and thwart growth. 

Your best laid plans can be thwarted in an instant when dealing with human behavior. 

This puts many inexperienced and uneducated people into positions which cause the local officials and legislators to seek ways to limit them and thwart their activities, which limits the entire REI industry.It's just the system responding to the bad stuff, which it should.How can you bring "a great deal" to an able investor if you yourself don't know what makes a deal "great"?

As long as everything matches, you’ll thwart 98% of fraudulent ‘landlords’ out there.

Auction buyers will, however, find creative ways to thwart the auction or game the system at the expenses of sellers and other buyers, in my observation. 

We were able to thwart those attempts off fortunately.

I wish all of these owners well and that they can get a good job again.The real question is how many of these delinquences will turn into distressed sales with little to negative equity, and most homes will be in deep need of a fix up thwarting a listed sale.
