If we can get a group together I would like to have speakers with experience come and share insight at future events, however I think the theme for the first meeting is simply a meet and greet. 

We meet 4 times a month  We focus on education and networking with each month focused on themes.  

Most are themes designed by developers which are installed on wordpress, like these, and coding is only needed for specific changes.

The common theme is to get the data and confirm all the numbers.

My wedding was in seven days at this point.

The common theme of all the advice is drive through the neighborhoods before you invest in them.

This past month the Wed meeting was held at a restaurant called Napolitanos near Home Depot off I-75.

They drank the "STR is the best investment" Kool-aid and bought a decent property, but not one that stood out from the other 20,000+ STRs in the area and did not want to invest money to theme it.Like others have said, I think it comes down to your goals. 

I've seen this circulating the web and have noticed a consistent theme here....All the comments on BP, Facebook or instagram that I've read are from actual STR owners and they all say the same thing "I haven't experienced this at all"This was posted by Nick Gerli using some source called AllTheRooms which is not a reliable authority on STRs. 

I thought I'd share this anecdotal story since it seems a theme on the forums and blog is about taking it a little bit slow when you are starting out.
