In my mind, it seems like we would all be doing a disservice to ourselves not making an attempt to try to learn other investments. 

However, their business model seems to have changed as they now send out emails listing homes they have under contract in attempt to assign them to other investors.

Then you'll have a much stronger position to negotiate from when attempting to obtain private funding. 

Decide how much time, effort, dedication you want to commit to your real estate endeavor.
