I'm amazed as I tour properties with old, rigged-together heating systems that many units still do not have detectors installed despite the well-established dangers.

I traveled to Memphis recently for a tour with a turnkey operation and we are on a waiting list with Mid South Home Buyers there.

What about when I'm evaluating an property (pre-LOI) and just doing a tour?

I recommend the Property be fairly close to your home; I don't think it needs to be less than 3 miles away but if it's more than 1.5 hours away you will find it too easy to make excuses to skip your regular property tours.

Check out sites like Zillow and city-data and come down and tour to make your own determinations.Best, Greg
