I can say that the book was the match for the fuel I had inside me.

Now how about back to the Realtors, lenders and investors trying to squeeze every last drop out of it they can for decades, fueled by ignorant (or deliberate) governement and central bank policy.

One of the biggest and not mentioned too often is fuel prices, especially diesel.

I don't even remember the last time that I looked at the price of fuel.

I can buy 10 acres with a house with about 28000 sq feet on a lake with a pole barn for around 200k.

This fueled my “why” for investing and drove me to create the business that I have today. 

I worked in a factory, climbed telephone poles, and repo man in a mining town (Interesting situations-shoulda' been more Jim K sized).Then I somehow got involved with sales of large computers and enterprise software, which I did for 20 years and had my own software company for 25 years until I retired 5 years ago.
