Unit is in fair shape, but missing closet doors and electrical lines (for example, the bedroom doesn't have a light switch or an overhead outlet).

One may have a had a very small closet, but others had book shelving and a credenza.

Here is what can break...water heater, garbage disposals, ovens, fridge, dishwashers, A/C, plumbing, electrical switches, microwaves, faucets, handles, knobs, cabinets, closets, shelving, latches.

The ranch we are rehabbing does not have an entry/front closet space.

I would hate to have these skeletons come out of the closet at the 11th hour.My realtor suggested that I call the county and discuss with them, without giving my home address so that I can get some answers.

They usually include hardwood floors, basic updated kitchens/baths, newer-white appliances, formica countertops/laminate floors, decent sized closets, etc.

This is assuming your job and hers are portable or you can find similar work in that city.
