Carlo,Your Insurance as a Landlord should include:- General Liability (Bodily Injury & Property Damage, Personal Injury, & Fire Legal)- Property (Building, Contents, detached structures)- Loss of Rents If this is a 1-4 family rental, the likely policy that you will be looking at is a Dwelling Fire policy (some companies call it a Landlord policy).

@Josh Caldwell Where this person lives is not like what your neck of the woods is like at all.Under market deals are rare and hard to find PLUS its big dollars.. average loan would be well over 500k.. its not like there in your market were you can find 25 to 100k deals to fund and have many to choose from..

I know this thread is old as dirt but I'm commenting anyhow since we still see the old threads..I recall years ago a dude who rented rooms and he ran into the biggest problem of his life when 2 of the tenants got into a fight and one fell down the steps and had serious injuries.
