It sounds as though they are inexperienced landlords (I just accepted my first renter today on our family home, my 18 and 20 year old kids are depressed and quiet, my husband has been glued to the T.V. since the renters left and I'm definitely feeling very sad and unsure of my new investing strategy!)

I wouldnt advise this but we were so eager and inexperienced that we put a lot of reno costs on out credit cards however, it actually worked out in the end.

It's not my "dream" car, nor is it everybody's cup of tea, but it's perfect for what I need it to do.If you don't pick up materials or appliances on a regular basis, a car will probably be best, but if you're hands on, you'll probably need a truck or a van.

Be sure you do some research on your deductions before you complete it and make sure you are in compliance with 704 and 134 in Wisconsin law.It seems you may be inexperienced in being a landlord, I recommend you join a local landlord association and start taking advantage of any classes or training they offer.
