It's not an easy job, and if you search the forums, you'll find that some people's stories are that it took them 8-12 months before they got their first deal.Even if you get the phone to ring, that doesn't mean you'll get a deal out of it. 

I have mine setup as "google voice" when rings so I know it is most likely from letters.

I've started doing mailings and the phone is ringing.

Keep up the mailers and the phone will keep ringing!

Folks, Yellow letters are the only way national wholesalers and regional wholesalers are getting their phones to ring.

@Michael Quarles   I am starting with hand written letters to try and get the phone ringing and will transition  into mailing services of letters and postcards as I get busy and put systems in place.

A simple yellow letter will get your phone ringing but the leads won't be great.

Answer the phone when it ring, don't let it automatically go to voice mail. 

Don't expect your phone to ring on the first mailing.
