You said you are rebuilding your credit.

-Rebuild your house. 

I looked at a nice lot yesterday in Oregon  500k  and would spend about 600k building the home  sales price 1.5 to 1.7I am looking to just be an investor in Austin.. were builder developer has lots tied up for 300k and will sell for 1.2 to 1.5  build cost in Texas are lower than west coast as we know so 5k sq ft fab home can be built for 600k or so.really depends on the market... one size does not fit all.And in much of the mid west unless its a re gentrify area like or an assemblage play  land is basically worthless as existing homes sell for half of what it would cost to rebuild .

Their reasoning is, they are selling their house to move cities for a new job so will be getting cash from that sale and they want to pay upfront so they can work on rebuilding their credit and savings to purchase a new home in the next two years or so. 

State laws may also govern insured losses, a total loss may pay you off or, the borrower may have the right to insurance proceeds to rebuild, payments may be deferred after an insured loss.

We are ready to rebuild this community and its neighborhoods.

It is likely that we will have to raise the house as we re-build.  

We are rebuilding the vinyl villages that were built in 2000 - 2004.

After all, if they've never torn apart an old shower and had to rebuild rotten studs and put in tile, or dealt with a problem tenant, are they the best people to get advice from on rentals and rehab??

I don't see a way to win this one unless the other owner is up for rebuilding the wall.
