In the matter of 8 months the prices doubled for newer houses and it has the healthiest market in Cleveland - shortage of inventory.

But at the same time we are a tourist area with a shortage of hotels/rentals/ short term housing.

If the owner can wait, they can list through a realtor and there are no shortage of those peppering good neighborhoods.

But my rates have been going up and the mortgage payment has been adjusted up to accommodate the escrow shortage.

I live in a county with 20k population and our town is 1500, we have severe shortages of both manpower and skilled labor.

Yes, 10 years may be a bit of a stretch unless someone like Amazon decided to setup an HQ in the area (not holding my breath...I think they would encounter a talent shortage IMO).
