If you have a moderate repair for say, $300, it's going to take you 6 months to recoup the expense... and that's assuming nothing else goes wrong in the mean time.

Entering 2020 the Economy was the strongest it has ever been, Stock market was great, Unemployment lowest in history and unemployed lowest in history, oil prices moderate, lending normal.   

All moderate quality but nothing luxury.
