I don't like growth stocks (AMZN, TSLA, NFLX, FB, etc) because there is not difference between these and gambling.

It could be a pretty big gamble if they follow through.

I am "gambling" my money that it will be in precious metals and food.

Naturally you'd buy based on good fundamentals and the gamble is just on the startup costs of furnishings, vacancy, etc.

@Jon Holdman - By looking at Monitored topics list, you can come across these.For those who asked, the threads in that category have been hidden by the moderators due to some violation of the BP rules for posting; could have been religion, could have been spam, could have been too much heated debate/argument where things got personal, etc.

My best lead generation has always been craigslist even tough everybody tells me in Memphis that is is all spam.

These properties there is almost no cash flow but they are either holding for retirement, living in one unit and renting three going FHA, or trying to buy high end quality areas hoping for rent growth and appreciation to eventually catch up to a decent return.Too me that is gambling and not investing yet the herds do it to their hearts content.

I know there is a lot of talk about spam and scams, blah blah blah… but I've always told my wife and now I tell my children, "if your serious about selling something, put a contact number obviously displayed for someone to get a hold of you".  2.)
