There is a clear moment when the jump is right but burning the candle at both ends was one of the best decisions I could have made until it was very clear to go full time.

You could also buy them something small, like a house plant or candle.

Of course not caught a fish but was the best trip because i was knowing theirs desires and the captain went them to the beach of Super Paradise where  i booked a table  in one of the best restaurant beach bar.The other case where my client asked what  to suggest him to make a romantic dinner in the villa , so I arranged a gourmet meal with chef, small candles floating in the pool and saxophone player playing  jazz music .

My recommendation would be something for the home, such as a candle or soap/lotion combo for the kitchen.

People will put candles or some sort of decoration in there - it still maintains it's role as a focal point without the issues connected to a wood burning fireplace: dirt from the wood carried in, smoke, smell, chimney service issues etc.

Also, at some point you will start burning the candle at both ends if you have a full/part time job and your investing career.Hope this helps :)

It doesn't smell as bad, so people are tricked into thinking it is harmless.I don't even allow candles in rental properties.

They are only strict when you get audited.You are really trying to to ride a fine line of burning your candle at both ends.

We have seen tenants without electricity do crazy things, like: use candles for light (resulting in burns to kitchen cabinets, candle wax in carpet, and removal of beeping smoke alarms); run an extension cord from a neighbor's patio to a power strip in which they plugged in more extension cords to lamps, the refrigerator and the gas stove (for the digital display).
