I've been reading "The changing world order" by Ray Dalio, and listening to some podcasts related to the subject of the declining US empire, and I'll admit it has me wondering if everything we hold true about long-term investing may be in for a shakeup in the near futureWhat I'm trying to decide is, should I sell a rental duplex (I have 2) and pay off my primary as a defensive measure?

But, if you are determined to build a rental empire than it is sound practice to speak with a mortgage broker or originator to determine the parameters of the refinance before you buy a property to fix and hold.

Before actually placing the property deed into the Land Trust, I contacted a number (7) of title insurance companies and they all explained that they do not provide title insurance for properties held in Land Trust.
