Nick Brubaker Great sounding tenant with questionable dog - should I rent??
19 July 2016 | 80 replies
This week I finally found one that I like for the following reasons:- She is polite, respectful, and reasonable- She is a 5th grade teacher with a steady income over 4x the rent- She has a clean criminal record- She has good credit history and has unintentionally signaled twice that her credit is important to her- Her car and dress seem clean and maintained enough- In some online research I found out she was on the dean's list in college - She is offering to pay another half-month's security deposit to give her an advantage over other applicantsThe biggest concern though is that she has a 75-pound dug that is a mix of Chow, American Terrier, Boxer, and Lab.

Life ain't bad for me, and I live on $900/month - and my medical care is free (Medi-Cal).I'm just saying, worst case scenario - you'll be just fine if you "only" live on your teacher's pension and social security. But, I think your plan will be fun.

Consider turnover costs as a factor (all other factors being good enough)- I am self-employed and can attest that not all self-employed people are created equal (think about a musician vs. a lawyer or investor with his own LLC). if you are truly worried about Couple B's 2nd income, ask for a 2-3 years tax returns showing total income and carefully consider the circumstances and stability of the self-employment (10 years as a piano teacher vs. just starting out).- finally, do find yourself already annoyed with couple A?

That is a modern bs thing made up by local government to victimize ordinary people. If a parent is a criminal for wanting a better education for their child then the teachers and schools are equally criminal in providing a bad education, which they are paid handsomely for by the taxpayer.Sign of the times when parents are criminalized for wanting the best for their children.
