What countertops in kitchen? 

For example, $4-5/sqft hardwood floors rather than laminate; Quartz countertops rather than formica; Nice looking in trend fixtures from wayfair rather than homedepot builder grade; etc.

I was wondering about countertops.

The home is finished part from the ( cabinet door and drawer fronts, countertops, baseboard, final mechanical trades, driveway, sod, well, and septic.)

We use vinyl plank not real wood, cheap counter tops, repaint tubs rather than install new, minimal outside work.

This question is no different than laminate vs. granite countertops.

All I know is that things are hard, but I've been lucky but I've also had people trash my homes as well but at the end of the day it's just all paint and a little elbow grease, I'm not putting granite countertops and Custom Cabinets in the houses I'm just going to Home Depot for the stuff so worst case scenario somebody does trash to the house I'm out of about $3,000 to put it back together.

If it's on the south side best bet will be getting it rehabbed mildly (new counter tops/sink, update bathroom, repaint the place, etc..
