I have done extensive work with his work, but this forum prohibits me discussing it here.In conclusion, I applaud your enthusiasm for this business and more importantly for becoming a self-employed, self-sufficient entrepreneur.  

We both came to the conclusion that it wasn't, he was asking full price (260K) and just didnt make sense. 

I think you may come to the same conclusion as myself which is that this amounts to nothing different than if the State of MA told grocery stores that they need to allow shoplifting for those who need food for up to a period of 1 year from a date that has not yet been declared and that they will be lucky enough to be able to "apply" to get their money recovered...someday and somehow not defined.  

After meeting with and analyzing over a dozen different companies and their options, we came to the conclusion that we could stick build for the same price and have an equal or superior product.  

In the event a problem occurs I open a trouble ticket online and they handle the dispatch.If the nature of the problem is outside of what's covered by the warranty companies, then, I make calls to local plumbers, electricians, contractors, exterminator or whomever is needed to get the job done.All of these are people/companies who have worked for me and know of my credibility to pay for their service on time, so, they readily take care of the problem until I return.The bottom line is that I elected to run the business on my own and it doesn't consume all of my time whether I am home or abroad and there is no impact to service with my handling of it this way.Lastly, my conclusion is that this method of handling the business is successful, because I take care of all issues promptly and don't allow them to mount and escalate into an emergency.

The conclusion I am making is that prices go up slower than they would have, not that prices go down. 

But if you plan well you will be ok.I have come to the conclusion that adding pulls and handles is worth the effort and cost.

I wanted to make sure I was not missing anything and my conclusions were correct.

If there is no contract, then this will be a tough dispute to make any clear conclusions on, even with a lawyer.
