The area is known for its beautiful scenery and endless recreational opportunities, making it a popular destination for visitors year-round.The vacation rental market in the Lake Travis area is strong and has the potential to yield high ADR (Average Daily Rate) and occupancy rates.

San Marcos is a college town, home of Texas State University, and a popular tourist destination, making it a prime spot for short-term rentals.I would highly recommend investing in a short-term rental in San Marcos.
