Sunset Beach is next over and a great beach though entry into either is higher than Myrtle / North Myrtle.Shallotte would be fine for long term but is not a beach destination, just a town at the coast.

Well I work from anywhere, beach, boat, cruise ships, while on vacation anywhere and everywhere.

Better per capita income, DFW Airport, and increasingly a tourist destination.

We also have very strong MTR/STR in areas like Destin, Panama City Beach, Miramar Beach, 30A.

Navarre is a hot destination because it's close to the military base, nearby airports, 5 minutes from the beach and good school systems (I grew up in Navarre).

It seems like a safe bet to me considering that it is the closest beach to Orlando and the largest cruise port in Cape Canaveral along with world-class attractions but would love to hear other people's experience and/or knowledge, so we can make a more informed decision
