And then have everything reviewed by a trial lawyer who would know how to stealthfully kill the LLC.Also make sure you max out your tax deferred accounts as these have the ultimate legal protection.

I am in the same boat as the OP, getting a residential mortgage so stealth transferring the deed to an LLC is not a desirable choice.
