I agree that newer appliances are using cheaper parts for sure - more plastics than metal - but basic appliances by name brand companies without frills are still ridiculously reliable.

In some of them it's a fabric panel you have to replace or wash; in some of them it's more like the lint filter on a dryer (a plastic or wire mesh) that you just scrape off/wash off and reinstall.

I could see the value in LLCs for example someone with a high net worth at risk of being sued, like a plastic surgeon, who should also get enough malpractice insurance.

I'm not sure if finding the cheapest CPA to help you with tax strategy or the lowest-cost plastic surgeon is the best place to try to save money - you might be missing out on tax savings opportunities that out way the cost OR in the long run it will come back to haunt you.
