I agree that newer appliances are using cheaper parts for sure - more plastics than metal - but basic appliances by name brand companies without frills are still ridiculously reliable.

Plastic and synthetic materials burn hotter than the house fires of old.

Renters will pay for: central heat & air, dishwasher, main floor/in-unit laundry, carpet-less home (laminate, tile, wood floors), off-street parking, fenced-in yard, dry storage (shed, clean basement), some type of clean outdoor space (patio, deck, porch).3.

In some of them it's a fabric panel you have to replace or wash; in some of them it's more like the lint filter on a dryer (a plastic or wire mesh) that you just scrape off/wash off and reinstall. 

But, a quick drive down the google street view and it looks like everybody is either working from the sidewalk or inspecting the patios for signs of rot.  

It does however have a beautiful patio covered/door living room that is brand-new.

I could see the value in LLCs for example someone with a high net worth at risk of being sued, like a plastic surgeon, who should also get enough malpractice insurance.

I have metal drives vs plastic, the wrapper looks the same but content is whole different item.

Cheapest plastic surgeon vs. most expensive? 

I'm not sure if finding the cheapest CPA to help you with tax strategy or the lowest-cost plastic surgeon is the best place to try to save money - you might be missing out on tax savings opportunities that out way the cost OR in the long run it will come back to haunt you.
