A period can be a calendar month, which is typical, or can be defined differently inside the note, for instance semi-annual (6 months) or annual (1 year), etc.In a little more in depth concept, a real estate note, or a note secured by real property, has its performance defined in the following manner:Payment made within 0 to 29 Days of the period due = Performing also considered a 'Current' loan - the note will call for each payment to occur on a defined period, such as the 1st of every calendar month.
