I completely understand and back the safety issue permits as this is what it all was originally about, just doesnt seem thats what their true interest is anymore.When myself and one of my guys were threatened with arrest by a city inspector because we were fixing 3 pieces of aluminum window trim on a friends house that was damaged by a bush too close to the house, what exactly did he want to inspect and whats the safety / health issue?

For example, if repairing the foundation required jacking up the house, it's not uncommon for the sheetrock to crack under the stress and for some of the interior trim/doors to shift a bit.You can ask the homeowner if bulk of the cracking was caused during repairs, before or after, and that will give you some info.

Needs minor painting on outside trim, a few other minor things.My thoughts on a proposal are to buy it with either $0 or a couple thousand down on a land contract, offer an 'attractive' interest rate, and maybe do a balloon in 3-5 years and get conventional financing at that point.

I was quoted: $18800.00 for all new siding $6500.00 for siding just patch and just patch wood trim around Windows as needed $4300.00if i just did siding where needed it would be $10,800 totalSo, would it be better to may the 10,800 and keep the price the same or even increase or should I just lower the asking price?
