BP is only REI place I know where rising real estate prices are a bad thing and where bad economic news is celebrated.

Don't know why really just a cultural thing.

It won't go smoothly.Somehow we've survived over 300 years as a culture in North America with real estate not going smoothly.

With the finishing of the cultural trail in that area and a lot of money coming in it seems to be growing.

It sure is a culture shock coming from the west coast in many terms that I am sure you can expect.

Our low cost of living compared to other major cities (Chicago, New York, DC, LA etc) is attractive to folks from those markets because you can get a somewhat downtown experience, pro sports teams, culture/sights/attractions at a comparatively affordable price.

They are just as much a culture as they are a company.  

Texas culture abhors unnecessary regulation.  

We also looked at the companies we felt embodied the culture we wanted and noticed alot of times their mission statement was totally different than what we thought.

Celebrate/repeatA good pointer I’ve heard from other agents is to look to be a listing agent Instead of buyers agent, as buyers tend to be more difficult to deal with I believe.Good luck !
