They are greasy and slippery and notoriously difficult to lock down with primer.

She dripped paint all over the cabinets trying to repaint, and when she left, there was still greasy soot on all the walls. 

For those where it appears they are causing the issue -- greasy kitchen, cluttered closets and garage, etc., we definitely let them know it's their responsibility if they are providing conditions that attract them. 

He sounds like a typical handyman, which means he has some pretty decent skills but he sucks at running a business and is probably happy as long as he makes enough for coffee and eggs with the buys at the local greasy spoon.

I can find 1.00 cheeseburgers that tastes like crap.

What did you have in mind, Pizza Inn, Golden Corral, Wendy's or just the Black Kettle Café greasy spoon?

I can have a crappy cheeseburger meal at Mcdonalds for 4 dollars but go to Cheeseburger Bobby's and get something much better for 8 dollars.

If they are cooks, they will walk into the house with greasy shoes. 

If they just got off the bus and are just starting a job at the local greasy spoon owned by their cousin, I'm justified in rejecting them.
