You have to go to court, have evidence, get a judgement, then enforce it on the correct exact same named people.

Yeah Account Closed  it's a weird situation that no one person seems to have a full grasp of (myself more than anyone, no judgement).

Both are pretty big places and any city has rough areas, so you can’t pass that judgement on the whole city.

I don't know either of the parties from the original post nor is there sufficient information to make any judgement, simply claims being made from one side.

There have been several court cases and summary judgements on this topic.

I don't believe that an LLC protects you from legal judgements.

@Arthur Banks it's a good idea to require them to get renters insurance because a lot of policies come with a personal liability and if you're the named payee in the event of a liability claim, you are able to recoup losses in the event of a judgement where they're liable (i.e. damage to the property b/c of grilling wings on a balcony).
