The steering wheel looks like a space ship with all it's buttons.

We did the ones that ship flat & you assemble so it definitely took added time (took us 2 days) but we were happy with the quality for the price. ($2200 shipped) Returns would be a nightmare though so won't work for all but we would do this again. 

I, also, am not seeing the dishonesty.The advertising to get the phone call (who knows how much)The phone call (time, utilities)The trip to diagnose (gas, depreciation, time, knowledge, experience, skill)The vendor to get the part (Overhead, capital use, tax, shipping)The return trip to install the part (license, insurance, warranty, time, gas, depreciation, knowledge, experience, skill)The payment of taxes (SS, Medicare/Medicaid, FIFA, etc... plus the accountant to wrap it all up)Not seeing the rip off here at all.

lShips are safest in harbor, but ships are built for sailing.

Their website is kind of annoying because there's no filter to see what is in store (they charge to have items shipped to the store). 

I always tell my husband, for better or worse, it's a "burn my ships" kind of endeavor!

You can't do this anymore but you used to be able to get cold hard cash in the form of dollar coins shipped from the US Mint paid for with a credit card with no fees, free shipping no less.

I am not in the industry anymore, but if you contact the Georgia Mobile Home Association, they can connect you with the modular and manufactured builders in the area, like Palm Harbor (built in FL but shipped to GA), Fleetwood, Jacobson (built in Fl but shipped to GA), Nationwide Homes, etc. 

Right now, we are like a giant ocean liner caught in a maelstrom and members of the crew are each trying to keep the ship afloat, but there is no captain to coordinate their efforts and steer the ship to safe harbor.

Not if you can get it direct shipped from outside the US, or a big automated warehouse.
