Since the current bank did not originate these loans they are taking over they have only specific ways they can work them out versus originating them directly.The FDIC usually gives them set protocols and time lines ( a future year deadline ) to get everything settled by.

My understanding is this would provide flexibility (can choose states that I don't live in), privacy (don't need to have my name and home address included in LLC records), and convenience (I guess these services send updates about deadlines, etc.).

The deadline for signed leases for the property I manage is 1 Feb for the following August, 7 months in advance.My experience has been if I don't have the property filled by March, I won't be able to get anyone until the next 'lease signing season' a year later.

I would also set a deadline to raise that private money to at least 2.5 weeks out from closing as there are many steps in the loan approval process which require time, should you need to go that route.
