It means that the "writ of execution" to sell the property at sheriff sale has been "stayed" - basically, this is a postponement of the sale, but with the added requirement that the next time that the lender wants to proceed with the foreclosure sheriff sale, then they must re-publish in the newspaper and re-post the property; with a postponement, this is just a continuation of the already published sale to a specific date, no re-advertising needed.

IN GA they are once a month and its quite the show.. you need to do your own title search up front.. to be successful you probably have to follow 50 homes that month figuring 48 will postpone redeem .. wholesaler got to them they renegotiated with the bank etc.. virtually impossible to just hone in on one home..

From what I can see, you've got to manually monitor legal notices in the Times/Post/County Papers to compile auction notices, then track the sale status (date, cancellation, postponements,etc) on the default attorney/trustee website.
