I'm left with this.Seal at the top of the wallWindow trim, seems like the guy cant cut 90*Window trim, water sidethe "cut & seal" around the window barthe top corner of the wallthe room as a whole.

This sealed off the dust, and gives a grand storage/workshop area,   HOWEVER, it also sealed off the airflow, with the result that any dampness wicking through from the outside soil makes any nearby surface mold heaven.

The seal might only last 1-5 years, but that buys me time to cash flow the house for a little while before having to bite the bullet on the new roof.  

The house is now rented and I didn't have to paint the hardwood floors to try and seal the smell.

Grout is required to be sealed yearly if you follow the directions.

I ran downstairs and the water from the upstairs toilet had seeped thru the wax seal and begun leaking into the downstairs.

Carpet - remove carpet and pad and seal floor if necessary.  

Now, there's no legal recourse left for them so they fall back on 'patriotism' or 'morality' to try to encourage borrowers to keep paying.If they wanted to play the 'moral' angle from the start, don't have a written contract but just take my word for it and seal the deal with a handshake.

I am thinking about having my guy install some siding (most likely wont be a perfect match) where the board is and make sure it is weather sealed with caulking.OrRemove the window frame and install siding with caulking, sealing it in.Does anyone have any inexpensive ideas?

I like Fusion 100% acrylic grout to minimize staining and eliminate sealing.
