Given how inefficient most cities computer systems are and how long it can take for info to get registered electronically why would you want to wait for a bad list when you can get someone to drive and knock on doors and talk to neighbours and get the real deals that way.

I'm an electronics technician and a sound engineer (and a musician, of course), and both of these professions are creative and I love them, but they are very stupid from an investor's perspective where numbers rule, because they don't bring a good quality of life and you just work for your boss etc, etc....

@Trevor Dominique it sounds like what she is most worried about is that she can’t let her dog run around with the new baby in the house and it will be much harder for her.You might be able to address that fear by getting an electronic fence, the kind that trains the dog to not go beyond the flags.That should be a lot cheaper and allow you to come up with a more gradual solution for the fence.
