Find out how long you need to keep it before tossing it.For the security system, leave it in place but make sure if it is monitored by a company that they stop the service.

Hello,i would like to ask if someone that is investing from remote has boots on the ground, a person that goes and monitor the contractor rehab process, takes pictures and evaluates the progress.

Has anyone installed security cameras inside their flips to monitor the crew via live feed?

If primarily office space with little public traffic, like the Red Cross for example, that may fly.Senior assisted living may fly, but rehab could be very expensive if oxygen is required and monitors, depends on level of "assistance" and I'm not speaking of a nursing home.Churches usually sell to other curches, in fact, they are a speciality in RE as well as financing due to the unusual collateral issues.

That said, things can change, so I would monitor at least the monthly statement to make sure that things are going the right way.  

Things you may want to consider:Privacy fence in the backyardEnough parking in the driveway or street for the amount of guests you plan on sleepingInstalling a noise monitoring device (this is mandatory in all STR our brokerage manages) it lets us know if there is a noise problem BEFORE a neighbor complains. 

My guess is that it's a combination of issues, lack of or inadequate insulation, leaky windows, gaps between the foundation and the crawl space, and possibly issues with the venting.One last tip, I recommend you put a thermometer in the basement to monitor the basement temp.
