We have a duplex STR so believe STRs have their role but …Most residential areas were not zoned for commercial enterprise. 

Additionally, this was an issue that was brought into family court, well outside of any title policy coverage where the occupant claimed to be married to the seller when that was not true, but the argument was enough to cause this situation and the party and the attorney were successful in dragging this out for this long (plus the crap court system certainly aided and abetted).

If you have to use word repair like putting a band-aid on, it is an expense.

Its also rather pompous sounding: ******* Enterprises LLC.

Hopefully we'll be able to aid in accelerating the growth, but I'm just glad it's a conversation we're having right now instead of hiding behind "investor protection" and draconian government policies.  

It can be done.Oh - and the tenant got legal aid involved, and it was the best thing that could have happened for us.

We are also in the market for a CPA, as we moved from New York 2 years ago and this is the year we have to yank the band-aid off and find one out here as we have been sending our documents to them in NY since moving here!
