Even if it has a satellite reader the reader can be disconnected and still cause a problem for you as the owner.And of course make sure water bill is paid before refunding deposits to a tenant.

(But I know that you and other sensible readers will understand that).

Depending on the purpose behind the title search, the reader might be advised to learn some of the items that I have mentioned here. 

But your comment made me think about my mom's house in Texas and her water meter is out by the street, so the meter readers open up a small cover at the street, read the meter, then close it and move on.

Lest the reader be concerned, my manager is back in good health.But I had to take over the lease-up of a vacancy during her convalescence.

I have been a long time reader of these forums and have picked up a tremendous base of knowledge from you, my colleagues, on this forum.  

Most of them are easy to implement, although most readers would not consider them upgrades.
