If you have concerns about the rest of the cast Iron, I would scope the system.

Hi all,We have a multifamily complex from the 1970s with a cast iron sewer line running under each building.One of the lines is corroded and we unfortunately just confirmed it is leaking.

I just ask because I feel that your desire for specificity ironically is holding you back from grasping the important stuff, at the moment.  

Ironically, while competition allowed this monopoly entity to build itself, now the presence of the monopoly prevents any future competition.
