The following are the factors that, in my experience, are most likely to lead an entrepreneur to form a corporation rather than an LLC:An expectation that outside funding will be sought, especially from institutional investors (venture capitalists, in particular, tend to invest only in corporations).

We could do this capitalistically by easing restrictions on safe nuclear power.

There is much wailing and gnashing of teeth over Madoff stealing $50 Billion, but our own government has stolen TRILLIONS and they are in the process of taking away our capitalistic system in favor of socialism.

This is borderline anti-capitalistic socialistism but that is what happens in Washington state.

The U.S. is not a democracy, nor a purely capitalistic system, and again, never has been. 

I no longer wanted my property taxes, rental inspection fees, etc go to support such an anti-capitalist, anti-landlord, anti-sanity city. 

So what is this big-bad-evil capitalistic exploitation?

And is there a narrative among certain groups that landlords or anybody on the ownership side of the capitalist system deserves to be taken advantage of?
