If I'm not home when they wan't to drop off I just tell them to lock the keys in the car, and I have a spare key. 

Thank you for sharing your story and exposing the scam and what you went through, as heartbreaking as it is you more then likely may have spared someone else from having to go through the same thing with these two.... until they make a new profile name I guess =/

I believe that if the pitch is to make $50,000 a month in your spare time with none of your own money, then BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Family bought a nice sub-compact Simplicity tractor for the farm there back in the aughts!

Because the apartment deal took up all of our spare time and capital resources we were basically starting over.

They could not afford to put a spare on the car, it sat there for 10 days because they didnt have the money to fix it but they can afford to smoke and go to the hookah club, go figure...

Unfortunately, the renovation itself has to be done sparingly to avoid spending all of the revenue on the property and putting the company in peril should a guarantee be called.  

I also keep a spare box around in case I need to replace some planks.  

My goal here is mainly to come up with an idea that seems the most useful/doable and start with that in my spare time.

What I do have a problem with is a bunch of blathering morons running for office that repeatedly lie about college degrees/certifications and dabble in witchcraft in their spare time.
