I had some spots that were not totally level and I just stuck down some thin pieces of cardboard that did the trick. 

The neat thing is they were actually from that exact house (although the street numbers were different back then).James: putting folded cardstock or cardboard behind door hinges is an old school repair for adjusting doors that aren't swinging properly.

Cardboard boxes and Diabetic strips ??  

People who hoard cardboard or newspapers, for instance - those will breed bugs or be a fire hazard.  

They would be lucky to share a card board box under a bridge.

., after they moved out, they couldn't claim that they didn't know they needed to vent the bathroom (mold), or not keep piles of cardboard stored inside (roaches), etc.But, I didn't add addenda, because we did inspections twice a year looking for these things with our quick inspections, so it just didn't seem necessary.

Also work trash(cardboard from contracting job) They were all alone in the back for a wile and I think they must have taken out their own trash and have on occasion actually done it. 

Tell him to feel free to treat the personal property if appropriate (example, roaches love cardboard so if there are cardboard boxes, spray the outside of them.  

You can't get a cardboard box for $1500 in SF. :)Your idea is really good!

They were otherwise wonderful tenants, though, so we weren't too hard on them, but bugged them to get rid of some stuff every year or so.Something to keep in mind, is that cardboard is a favorite breeding stuff for cockroaches.
