Every single amenity or add on in a rental is something that can potentially break and cause service calls.Unless the area is super green friendly I don't think it would matter if I had solar panels.

For a mid term rental where people are staying longer, I would offer that as an add on and they can decide if they want to.

I say this to offer up the other option of setting up a simple rent-by-room scenario without the need to have to add on any kitchen setups as unless you're all in to do it right, it may be more trouble that its worth.

To add on to some of Pete's ideas, what I did with my venue was do conduct style shoots and allow different vendors in to decorate the venue and have models come to pose for photos as if they were getting married.
