The fact that you can't sue the manufacturer does not lead to the logical progression that the builder's liability carrier is liable because the manufacturer cannot be sued.Btw - I just talked to Jeff out of Florida and he told me of a case where a court decided an insurer did have to pay on one Chinese drywall claim.

I read an article that a Chinese company is selling 3D printers that can build homes for as little as $16k all the way up to $44k, they built 10 houses in 24 hours (granted they weren’t the nicest design).

I would recommend talking to at least 5 different brokers and focusing on the culture/atmosphere, CE and support options as well as community involvement.
