I don't think ESAs have the same protections under ADA or Fair Housing laws....but I encourage you to check.Now, let's say the answer is yes the State, County or City does prevent you from taking a "pet deposit," there is nothing that prevents you from requiring a higher security deposit....unless of course there is...LOL.

(If they know the names of the correct tools and can tell you the details of what they have like nail guns and their gauges, and can bring them, they might actually know what they are doing somewhat) BTW, our framer used mostly nails ad a hammer; old school but he had a nice variety of different saws.

This is a challenge that I thought the forum may be able to help with:In the event that a tenant has a justifiable fear of dogs and suffers from PTSD from a previous attack (they even asked if it was a dog free property upon rental), what happens if a neighboring tenant states it is their legal right to acquire an emotional support animal because of the ADA laws?
