I then learned she planned to do some kind of housing project for disabled veterans.

I'm retired disabled USAF(37 years).

So would you rent to someone who says he will show us his disability income through his bank statements?

It usually has to be more money and the fee goes up (unless disabled).

I have been using the vinyl plank flooring from Home Depot in homes I'm renovating for a company that provides housing for mentally disabled.

I was, originally, looking for some security in the Denver market, where my rent is going up considerably faster than my paycheck, and with a disabled husband, limited means to generate additional income, the future was looking scary.  

-Pays on time, takes care of the place but I have had to relocate her twice and she demanded max payment and faked disability to get more money.Thank you in advance for anyone willing to chime in!
