CERTIFIED MAIL is not available to overseas destinations, the tenants' permanent addresses are in Europe, and I have to send the NOTICE OF INTENTION TO IMPOSE CLAIM ON SECURITY DEPOSIT via Certified Mail as required by §83.49(3), Florida Statutes. 

@Craig Lillard,The only flaw I see is that you haven't already started :)  Definitely would focus on true vacation destinations, especially for the next couple of years as the whole Covid-19 fallout evolves.

With the right STRs I can get there much much faster.Cash flow is worth the day to day effort - if you use a property manger with an STR - it won't be near as profitable.For STRs in destination vacation markets, most of them surged in occupancy rates and in nightly rates.  

The country has become an important tourist destination in Latin America, which has pushed the development in the hospitality, retail, and entertainment sectors.And yet, the positive development is far from over - it is just beginning!

Maybe look at some of the Destin properties if you like Florida or a regular every day long term rental in a better market if you want less work. 

Punta Cana is first and foremost an all-inclusive destination and there's no way an Airbnb can compete against those.
