Yes, I do understand that the rent is higher than a normal rental, but I also know that I was able to choose the exact house I wanted, and I wasn't stuck with a typical "rental house", which is usually in not great condition and is outdated.

I would most likely try to keep the move out date for April, because at that point I will want to get in to rehab.

The need for cable is outdated if you buy a subscription that functions the same, though it depends on how reliable your internet is.

Hmm thanks.The industry is changing and brokers run offices haphazardly and have slim margins and outdated strategies. [ I spent long time with C21, then my own brokerage]Most brokerages I have a hard time aligning my concepts and strategies with so I stay independent. 

Based on the kitchen it looks like the property has been a 2 unit for a least 10-20 years (outdated kitchen).

Homes in the area sell for $600,000 - $700,000 in outdated condition.

I've used Loopnet in the past but I've found many listings are way outdated.

If the house is just dated and everything functions but is out dated .

Better to buy the outdated home on a great street than a pristine home that is overpriced for its surroundings.
