I rented a house to a woman with one small daughter one time.

My goal is to become a renaissance woman of sorts with interests in real estate, social research, Christian ministry, and education (in no particular order because I'd actually like to do them all at once--call me crazy!).

The seller told me the woman renting it has a grown daughter that has bipolar disorder and damages the house.

So if you don't work it out fr her she will get to live in the house longer and she'll get a check for the difference between what the house sells for and what she owes in taxes.Do you feel at all bad for leveraging an old woman's confusion and fear about the tax sale process in order to cheat her out of the equity she built up in that home after all these years?
