As many of us know, this is a different kind of breed lol :) Therefore, I am seeking an advice from folks that has successfully launch their SELF-STORAGE business - main questions: What should I do now to prepare myself?

A friend once compared closings of commercial transactions to jazz performances, where everyone is playing around the same theme and improvising where needed, but also where a few select players have opportunities to launch into solos. 

Did this finally get launched!!

I know it's early (launched it less than a month ago) but I think for now it might be better to spend my money on a buyers landing page.

We were doing yellow letters before anyone even knew what they were.My dad bought a printing press old Hamadastar  and after school I would run off 3 to 5 thousand flyers... ( door Hangers) then on the weekends my mom would drive 4 or 5 of us kids ot neighborhoods and we would hang them on the doors... the leads came stgraight to my dad... ( company did not care they just wanted sales) he was soon the number one salesmen ... and went on to launch his own company... it was not uncommon in those days for good land salesmen to make in excess of 100k  a year .. that would be like 500k today or better... but they also lived it...

America Saves does decent work in the area that interests you, and they give you the opportunity to launch your own local community campaign.

@John Thedford  that's one thing I don't think people look ahead at when they launch into the rental game.. recapture.. 

Of course I wish you well, or anyone that tries, because it would make me feel more secure leaving my truck at the boat launch when I go fish at Lake Conway.  :-)

I'll remind you Jorge, that you reached out to me in the same way a couple of months back:I’m just curious: would you recommend someone, as a wholesaler, just launch campaign after campaign and track responses and hone in on the more successful pieces and frequency OR is there a source like a marketing course or book or periodical where someone doing the latter could gain insight and have an “aha!”
